Leica Mifilmca

The Mifilmca was a logical marriage of Leitz microscope equipment and their new 35mm camera line. Introduced when the Leica was a fixed lens camera, with a tube holding 1/3 magnification optics, a beamsplitter for viewing the image, and in Ibsor shutter. The shutter release button on the body allowed the camera to be wound to the next frame. Early examples have the lower 6mm wind knobs, where later examples have an 8mm high wind knob.

In 1932 the camera was given a removable tube in the standard 39mm thread, and an extendable rewind knob, and was renamed the Kafilomca.
